Minor irritation

Put some natural, ecologically friendly and yummy basil scented cleaning products (Mrs. Meyer’s) in an online retailer’s shopping cart this morning, as they were 20% off. Resolved to let it sit all day and think about what else I might need to add to the order. When I went to place the order this evening (still the same day as they are 2 hours behind me, plenty of time to spare), the cleaning products were no longer on sale and consequently were removed from the cart. What is the point of arbitrary sale-ending times? Whatever happened to 11:59pm? I expect that. I don’t expect 3 in the afternoon or whatever. It’s stupid, it’s not earth-changing, and it’s definitely not news but I *had* been looking forward to whisking around the house in a flurry of spring cleaning activity, leaving a trail of basil scent as I went. Ah well. Another day, another sale. And their loss.

In other news, the Gordian Shrug ribbing now comes in three flavors. I have to decide if it’s worth putting all three as choices in the pattern or not. But we’re close. Hallelujah, we’re close.
